Awesome chicken rice bowl with quinoa and the Passina salad at Efi's Gyro in Montclair. When I landed at my airbnb in Montclair, I ran to CVS to stock up on water. The CVS has closed! A friend said she would drive me to Shoprite to stock up on breakfast and lunch items. I had enough time to grab the chicken bowl across the street. I asked the staff member what was the healthiest item, & she suggested the chicken rice bowl with the quinoa and healthier Salas. It was delicious!!! Reasonable prices. I would have preferred to try the lamb, but that takes an extra 10 minutes to cook & I didn't have the time. The chicken rice bowl was so good, that I would order that again too! Highly recommend Efis Gyro !!!

I absolutely love the food here. I’ve had the Chicken gyro, the Greek fries & the Chicken platter. The chicken is always tender & full of flavor. The pita bread is fresh & soft. That gyro sauce is so good. Highly recommend.

Efi’s gyro is my new favorite food place in Bloomfield. Ordered the lamb platter the first time and dined in. It was perfect. The second time I ordered the lamb platter for take out. The lamb was served on stick and the cheese in cubes, not shredded like the dine in. And worst of all, the steak was salty. Maybe next time I will let them know to reduce the salt. And yes there will be many next times.

Effy's Gyro is a gem for Greek food lovers! Their falafel gyro is one of my go-to comfort meals. The pita is almost always perfectly baked, warm, and soft like it just came out of a wood-fired oven. Their fries are crispy and seasoned just right, and I also recommend trying their dips—everything is fresh and full of flavor. I love having an excuse for stopping by!

We ordered the Efi’s gyro and it was amazing! The chicken is so tender and moist, the fries are bursting with flavor! The baklava was so sweet and flakey. The service was so great! Will be going back!

Efi’s Gyro in Montclair has been one of my go to spots for a few years now! Every two weeks or so I always end up coming back; whether it’s for lunch or to bring dinner home after work. Efi’s has always been reliably tasty and filling because of their generous portions. We were first recommended Efi’s because of their plant based options. They have healthy salads, rice bowls and great falafel. What we fell in love with was the gyros though, of course, because they are so flavourful. Not to mention the fries on them are always perfect. You have to try Efi’s fries! With time I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and recommend the gyros, the bowls and platters. After a long day, the various platter options always hit the spot! I just cant ever get over how generous their servings are. I also love buying Efi’s sauce and adding it to other meals at home because of the smoky kick it has. Basically, if you’re hungry from a long day go to Efi’s! If you just worked out in town, go to Efi’s! Or, as is often the case with me and my coworker, if you’re just dreaming of a tasty lunch in Montclair, talk yourself into going to Efi’s!

Wow. Just wow. Everytime i eat here, i never leave disappointed. Like look at the Gyro. Best gyro Ive ever had! And it just always happens to taste even better with every bite! Then the Baklava another wow! It was cold and ive never had cold baklava and thanks to this establishment, I would only eat my Baklava cold now!

I tried EFI’s today from just passing by without looking at any reviews/ knowledge about the place i was PLEASANTLY surprised on the food! I got 2 lamb gyros and spanakopita to go. The lamb meat was GOOD but I got some nasty hard pieces. But, after getting rid of the pieces the gyros were great STUFFED with fries and I Loved it! I would 100% go back but i would personally try the chicken instead. The spanakopita was great and enough to share between two!
